First float — $504.6★ · 258 Google reviews
Book now1,500+ floats completed under new ownership — almost all of them 5 stars. Your first float is $50, and no experience is needed.
Float Boston is independently owned by Mark, who floated every day for 30 days and tracked his own data. This isn't a corporate spa — it's a place someone actually cares about.
First-timers are our most common customers. Our staff walks you through everything before you go in. You will not feel lost, rushed, or pressured. Ever.
Since reopening in July 2025, every single Google review has been 5 stars. Not because we ask — because people leave wanting to come back.
A float tank is a private room with a shallow pool of warm water saturated with 900 lbs of Epsom salt. You float effortlessly — no effort, no sound, no light. Just you.
Most people have never experienced true silence or real weightlessness. In 60 minutes, your nervous system gets more rest than a full night of sleep for some people.
Here's the part nobody tells you. The first time in the tank, your nervous system is still on guard — sorting out the water, the silence, the dark. It can't fully let go yet, because it doesn't know what's coming.
It really does take about three floats for your nervous system to learn what to expect, your body to learn how to relax, and your mind to learn how to quiet down. The first float is your body learning the room. The third is the one people are actually chasing.
That's why most first-timers grab the intro pack instead of a single — buy 2 floats, get 1 free — so you reach the part that works, not just the part that's new.
One-time intro package · buy 2 floats, get 1 free · 3 floats for $150
Your mind is still busy. Your body hasn't let go yet. This is normal. Everyone goes through it. Just breathe.
Somewhere in the middle, something releases. Your body stops bracing. Your thoughts slow down. This is the float.
Soft music brings you back. Most people emerge calm, clear, and lighter than when they went in. It stays with you.
Infrared sauna followed by a cold plunge — the heat-and-cold cycle is one of the fastest ways to boost circulation, speed muscle recovery, calm inflammation, and build real resilience. You walk out energized and clear, often for hours afterward. Your own private room, your own pace.
Explore contrast therapy →Fast, focused cold therapy with no downtime. Localized cryo targets pain, inflammation, and injury recovery right where you need it — while body contouring sessions help sculpt and tighten specific areas. Quick sessions, real results, and it works beautifully alongside your floats.
Explore cryotherapy →One hour of total stillness addresses more than most people expect.
Most wellness centers try to be luxury. Granite counters, white walls, high-pressure sales staff. Not here.
I want Float Boston to be somewhere anyone can come and feel at home. A place where you can afford to take care of yourself without breaking the bank. A place to belong. A place my mom would have been proud that I owned.
Whether you're here for the first time or the hundredth, we're here for you.

I have really been enjoying Float since they re-opened under new ownership. The cryo and massage chair are awesome additions to my self-care routine for neck and upper back pain. I always feel great afterwards — both mentally and physically.

It is even better than before. I was greeted by Christy who gave me a refresher on how it all works. Clean, easy to enter and exit. I took advantage of their last minute special for $50. I will be back there soon.

Float is amazing! Kristie gave me a full tour. The cryo is so cool — especially for anxiety and vagus nerve stimulation. They also have a vibration plate and massage chair. I'll definitely be back.
