Localized cryotherapy treats one spot at a time — a knee, an elbow, a low back. It works well on some things and does nothing for others. Tap any area to see what targeted cold helps with there, and what it won't.
The word to notice is localized. This treats a specific spot — one knee, one elbow, the low back — and it's very good at that. If you're achy all over, wrung out, not sleeping, or carrying stress in your whole body, a cold spray on one area won't touch it. Floating or contrast therapy is the better call.
Tap an area to read about it. Tap again to remove it.
Left and right are yours — the figure is facing you on the front view.
Pick a spot to see what targeted cold actually does there — and what it won't.
We can't treat through clothing — the cold has to reach skin directly. Shorts and a tank top cover almost every combination. Forget something? We keep spares at the desk.
Raynaud's phenomenon, cold urticaria or any cold allergy, cryoglobulinemia, reduced sensation or neuropathy in the treatment area, open wounds or active skin infection, or a suspected blood clot. Pregnant? We'll skip the torso and lower back. Tell us before your treatment and we'll adjust.
