Float therapy places your body in warm water saturated with over 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — making you effortlessly buoyant, like the Dead Sea. The water is heated to skin temperature, so after a few minutes it becomes hard to tell where your body ends and the water begins.
With the lid closed, there's no light and no sound. Your nervous system — constantly bombarded by input — finally gets permission to stop. Most people describe it as the deepest rest they've ever experienced.
Each session is 60 minutes of float time, with 10 minutes before and after to shower. Your room is completely private. You control everything — lights, music, door position.
Just stillness. Your body aches melt away effortlessly. Your soul gets a moment of rest it rarely gets anywhere else.
Book Your First Float — $50Your mind races. The first 10 minutes can feel like an eternity. Your body isn't used to this level of stillness and it fights it a little. This is completely normal — everyone goes through it.
Then the real float begins. Your body relaxes, your breathing slows, your mind quiets. This is where the magic happens. Time stops mattering. Some people drift toward sleep, others have their clearest thoughts in months.
Soft music gently brings you back. Exit slowly — treat it like waking from a vivid dream. Reflect in the shower, or spend time in our meditation room. Most people walk out feeling lighter than they have in months.
Whatever brings you here, you'll leave with something. Here are the most common reasons our clients float.
Most wellness centers try to be luxury. They want to be the place you go to spend as much as you can, and they look the part — granite counters, white walls, high-pressure sales staff.
Not here. Float Boston exists to be somewhere anyone can go and feel welcome. A place where you can afford to take care of yourself without breaking the bank. A place to belong.
Whether you're here for the first time or the hundredth, we're here for you. Fair pricing. Real people. No spa voice.
